wait so why are we confident that the trailer is releasing PRIOR to Avatar when putting the trailer in front of it will drive up Disney sales?

I imagine Disney would care for stuff like hitting the view record for 24 hour

& do we really expect them to mass garner hype for their most important movie by having to spend $20 to watch a movie for 3+ hours that Marvel fans might not really care about

I’d like to avoid the Doomsday trailer because I’m seeing Avatar 3 in IMAX next weekend. But I know it will be literally impossible to avoid spoilers for that long. But it would’ve been cool af to see it for the first time in IMAX

Mando and Grogu was supposedly the Disney trailer scheduled for tomorrow, but that’s been pushed back because of Supergirl.

you would think there is some demographic overlap between MCU fans and Avatar movie-goers

its a huge spectacle movie with lots of cutting edge effects, why you being a try-hard

If it is gonna be Avatar exclusive for a bit, it’s probably not gonna be much of a teaser I can’t imagine they would want a big reveal or discussion point trickling out and leaking bit by bit over the course of a weekend.

Or maybe they do because they hope it drives sales and makes Disney win even more.

nah that isnt me i like Avatar, both the first two movies are great. i wanna see the trailer the first day it comes out, but i dont love Avatar to the point where i’m gonna be there first day, or first week

Been had day 1 IMAX 3d joints told my girl we arriving ON TIME

I def dont treat it like MCU but its a fun other world to get escape into especially on the big screen with the crowd

Usually i calculate to arrive 20mins after the start time to smoke and miss the trailers but with Avatar 3 i gotta be there ON TIME if Odyssey, Spielberg, and Doomsday are previewing
