& the mere fact that he was the most accurate Spider-Man (in suit) of all time
I complimented the suit. It’s fire

Ha, sorry - I meant that he portrayed Spider-Man perfectly
He's actually the best written and characterized Peter/Spider-Man lol it's just the movies were ass-decent at best.
All those things that happened were kinda vital to Peter's growth/narrative. They've done plenty of stories where he wrestles with the guilt of not doing something to stop the person who ended up killing Uncle Ben.
That was basically his first REAL lesson of "With great power, comes great responsibility." That's why it's such a huge mantra for him, because he witnessed first hand the potential consequences of failing to do something when he can.
Gwen's dad dying and him not keeping the promise to stay away from Gwen that led to her eventually getting killed was Peter's hubris that ended up catching up to him. Gwen dying was vital to his growth because it reinforced his need to keep his life as Peter and Spider-Man separate if he wants to keep those he's close with protected.
Being Spider-Man often leads to a lonely life for Peter (in the mainstream 616 continuity at least), it's something that's gonna be touched upon heavily in Brand New Day.
Uncle Ben is a canon event. The way it happened in Garfield’s Spidey was bad writing. Same with Gwen, it happens in the comics I know it does but they fumbled it

I hated his Peter tho. Mumbled every sentence

Reason is cuz that director writer had to be on d****
Those aspects got rushed cuz this mf was obsessed with cramming in as many pointless sub plots as possible to make the movies disjointed especially whatever the fu k that “Peter’s parents were secret spies and in the midst of all this other s*** happening Peter is finding clues and secret train stations, opening scenes of parents not part of main plot action, deleted scenes of the dad surviving
Total train wreck
Yeah man that cyclops shot will hold me until April or so. I have been very critical towards marvel but I feel like thunderbolts and f4 have been a return to from. Just please don’t screw this up
I thought the F4 was all gonna have bubble coats and s***
Ben got a turtleneck on in the middle of the f***ing desert
Rocks don’t sweat
he can rock his turtleneck wherever
Didnt like the new trailer at first cause it seemed a lot less serious than the other 3
But it grew on me…love seeing new character interactions
Very much so
Highkey I’m so excited to see the throwback X-men more so the other bs they pull out they ass
X men were was way cooler than the avengers growing up and seeing them potentially being as cool as possible has me so hyped for this movie
but at the same time I really want a clean slate for all the members after all this s\*\*\* is done, new blood different writers all that good s\*\*\*. You can do so much them
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It ain’t that f***ing funny

Plus movies are boring af. I won’t let this revisionist s*** work it’s voodoo on me
On the internet, if you wait long enough, they’ll get nostalgic over anything
I stanned Andrew since Day 1 and loved to see the Andrew appreciation post-NWH
Amazing Spider-Man 1 was good, I will say that
2 is hot trash, yeah
Was Garfield the best actor to have played Spider-Man? Definitely
Was his Spider-Man (character not portrayal) the best? The worst imo

victim of corporate greed that’s plagued spider-man flicks for a long time
Best Actor
Best Spider-Man
Average Peter Parker
Potentially worst supporting actors, probably yes aside from Emma Stone
Worst movies
(IMO)

Think the director was trying to adapt elements of 1610 Spider-Man into the movie. Which is funny cause it's Amazing not Ultimate Spider-Man.
It's the same kinda s*** with that Fant4stic s*** from 2015.
It's funny how the mid '10s brought us elements of the Ultimate Marvel universe to film and fumbled so much of it that could've been interesting.

“They don’t make movies like this any more” literal clips of epic movie
Love Andrew Garfield as an actor but his Spidey is so gassed when he’s the worst written live action Spider-Man we’ve gotten.
Indirectly got his Uncle killed because the gas station clerk wouldn’t give him chocolate milk he couldn’t afford, promises Gwen’s dad on his death bed to stay away from her for her own safety, breaks the promise by the end of that same movie, Gwen ends up dying proving her dad was right, weak parents spy storyline
All he has is cool web swinging scenes and a fire suit
Hey man he had his redemption saving Zendaya and it’s the highest emotional moment in No Way Home from what I hear
I'll never forget on ktt1 we had a leaker/scooper dude who was teasing stuff about IW, and he asked for people's theories and what they thought the plot was gonna be and s***. My response made him DM me immediately like "ayo you got someone on the inside? My source said what you said verbatim" and I was completely guessing
I was right as f*** too

You won't hear me saying the movies were good lol I'm just saying that Andrew Garfield did a great job as Peter/Spider-Man
If they had went on to make Amazing Spider-Man 3 I'm sure the subplot they were trying to do with Peter's dad would've been a plot point and they would've adapted the Ultimate Spider-Man Venom and Carnage kinda story line
Gotta remember Sony was trying to make a whole cinematic universe for Amazing Spider-Man and the villains. Random sub-plots in the Amazing Spider-Man movies were likely going to serve as set-up for the universe. The movies just ended up being ass lol
