nah it's fake
i'm pretty sure they have be under a certain length to be considered for some awards
Huh?
I figure this will be the best avengers film so far considering doom is a way more layered villain than thanos
The problem is Thanos was built up slowly through multiple movies
All we have is one tiny scene of Doom in F4 and now we are immediately getting him
It’s still going to be amazing I’m sure but it’ll be hard to beat Thanos because of the build up

Thanos build up had nothing to really do with his "conquest goal" or anything tbh tho. That was all one movie. Other than him just being "generic alien warlord"
Folks really questioning Robert Downey Jr.’s acting ability
They forget who this man is
Gotta respect RDJ always goes for it with accents. What other American playing Sherlock Holmes?

Most didn't know who he was before Iron Man

I think we forget sometimes that these are movies… and in 99.9% of movies the antagonist does not get a decade’s worth of build-up to make the audience care about them. All you need is 2 hours.
Heath Ledger’s Joker was in one movie
Darth Vader was iconic in the first Star Wars
Etc. etc.

People also over estimate how much Thanos was built up in those little cameos. Thanos didn’t enter pop culture until Infinity War because that was the movie that truly introduced the character to general audiences before that we had no idea what his motivations were just that he was planning to attack
Huh?
i saw someone say that if movies are over 3:30 or around there they can't be considered for some awards

man nobody was thinking about Thanos until they made it officially all about him
who was thinking about Thanos during civil war?

The point is that it was all obviously building to something and you knew Thanos was the one behind it all even if he wasn’t on the screen a lot.

Less about Thanos and more about the conflict and danger at hand
Even without Thanos, the story of the stones and their location across the universe through the phases built a tension that led to IW/Endgame.
True Doomsday and the Multiverse Saga doesn’t have the same consistency but im starting not to care. It’ll be cool to just jump right in to a crazy Avengers story f*** it, especially since its accurately being sold as the beginning of something new
So how long do they usually wait to release the trailer after cinema con screening
They might wait to premiere it with Spider-Man
They might wait to premiere it with Spider-Man
I saw someone say probably The Mandalorian movie which makes sense. Let's hope

Depends on the release dates.

Thought they might want to let Spider-Man have it’s promo run first but it would help Mandolarian out cause that movie probably flopping

ima keep it real with you man, nobody cared about them post credit scenes until they started the run up to Thanos post civil war, that’s not even long drawn out promo lmao. there were a lot of movies they used in 2016/2017 to build into it just like the recent movies and their post credits
prior to that, yea we knew they existed, but it was mainly for the humor and basically just an extra scene, like all the Avengers sitting at the cafe. just how I experienced it at least

Wouldn't go that far lol. The post credits scene was a big MCU staple and was the connective tissue that lead to the 1st avengers and built the hype for the rest of the infinity saga, only a few of them were extra scenes or humor
This for the 1st avengers movie was a big moment

!https://youtu.be/Yx2SSzWXG7U?si=E49lpLWBcNJqVMIkI feel like it was big if you loved comic books and were tapped into the lore of what’s coming…but man I really don’t think your regular every day viewer who enjoys action movies was really tapped into this s*** until we got to the build up to Infinity War.
like most people hadn’t even seen all the movies that leading up to civil war, let alone leading up to Thanos so the focus of the post credit heightened as people started hopping on the train and learning “oh s***, this a universe?” especially the massive noise Black Panther made for Marvel across all types of ages, races and genders leading into Infinity War

Nah definitely not true. The post credits scenes of the first few mcu films before avengers is pretty much what started the hype of the mcu as a shared universe. Avengers was the first of its kind, all those teasers to it had people very excited, comic book fans or not.
Even if you didnt know what it meant, you still wanted to see it and then go back home and look up breakdown vids. Especially in a pre streaming world. And the hype just kept getting bigger by the time of Ultron
