Because the people who used to complain and were bigoted against “ebonics” are like 3 generations removed from the kids who are now unknowingly influenced by and using that language. And it’s due to social media, especially TikTok. There are tons of non race/culture related accents and slangs on TikTok that kids mindlessly replicate too. The OP asked for a reason why and I gave him the correct answer. Sorry you didn’t like it.
