My first impression (2 listens in) is that it’s one of his better albums. Great salute to the original with some spiritual successors (even with song titles). Not really a weak track on here. Could’ve done without his sons verse but he didn’t do a bad job. Much better than part 2. Kinda wish Jada had a verse. Nas killed it

on my third listen in a row rn and it's kinda blowing me away

he's one of my fav artists ever and i liked his last few albums a lot but they kind of felt like him just doing some victory laps

this one oozes aura with him sampling his own classics on the first half and inspired s*** on the second half

Yep on my third listen. Way better than I expected. Just enough of the original to give it the same flavour without overdoing it. I’d love Nas to do something along the same lines with Illmatic tbh. May be recency bias but may be my second favourite AZ album. Certainly his most consistent since the debut

Its a solid album tbh az voice flow got better idk man seem like hes on another level then most rapper. Only down side is jadakiss no verse
