I don't really understand Azealia's point about white people liking your music cause the only people I see still raving about her recent music are white gays.
She's foolish and delusional
y'all doing all this arguing when y'all coulda been listening to key glock instead
we reach the communism arc yet
Capitalism has so deeply ingrained itself within hip-hop that the consumers have stopped treating hip-hop with the respect it deserves and have reduced it to meaningless charts and sales discussion. Leading to artists trend hopping simply to appease those with money and influence and not caring for the artform.
This dumb b**** forgets Kendrick the #1 USA selling Rapper since almost his whole career, has the best selling Rap tour oat and has the most charted Rap album thats still going of all time & he started out on a hole in the wall INDIE label

Not liking this one
i think there's a difference in criticizing the merit of his music and its aims and a latent function.
the phrasing implies he intentionally makes music for the express purpose for the aforementioned reception by white people, and singles him out as the only rapper who's music provides this manifest function, but a bunch of rappers provide this latent function considering a large portion of the rap audience is white. is every trap rapper going to get the same criticism (future, gucci?) or even someone like jay-z because white people do what they do with a lot of things regarding the black experience? Her claims of him having white ghostwriters is also unfounded and kinda seem ridiculous. i feel like that would be a major sticking point of this if people wanted to deride his craft but it sticks out like a sore thumb as something fabricated to justify the rest of the opinion.
like the music can not be up someone's ally but the words to me are well crafted and intentional, and don't seem to be aimed at an audience of the white parents from get out. he and drake don't really make similar music to me in content, execution/delivery, or quantity. This coming from someone who doesn't really listen to kendrick casually, and
It seems so shallow of an observation but I never thought i would be spending this many words on an Azalea banks rant so that's what i get tbh.
Wasn't this serious broski
Thread funny same niggas here hype that this confused maggot looking b**** went at cuck lamar would be crying if she said the same bout our papi goat
I don't think anyone takes Azealia Banks truly serious no matter what. Which is why it's insane Kendrick fans came in here crying for 30 pages about this.
Azalea Banks rant did better numbers then Dojas single, damn
🧢
it’s crazy the passive aggressiveness is still there from southern folks, they been on top for a decade plus at this point
All in your head
It's just weird how people be saying NY hates on the south when there have been so many collaborations between NY rappers and southern producers since the 80s and 90s.
S***, NY rappers in the 90s had so much love for southern rappers and groups like Scarface/Geto Boys, 8Ball & MJG, and of course UGK. Biggie and Jay Z would often praise Scarface and would even say they got some of their flows from him. There was never shame and it was basically just real recognize real. Lotta NY producers would even cite the sample work/production from 2 Live Crew as influential and the feeling was mutual because they'd be pulling from some of the most random records to sample.
Feel like the only people still pushing the NY vs south narrative are nerds who were born in 2000 who only started to really follow rap/hip-hop in the 2010s. These people really think niggas was region locked or some s*** back in the day and nah the actual reality is niggas from all over were collabing and f***ing with each other's music.
Bruh southern niggas were barely getting play on NY radios till the early 2000s. Idk why you trying to downplay whatever happened back there cause 'some' niggas collabed
The damage Drake has done to this site is immeasurable
Kendrick fans mad for 38 pages over an Azealia Banks comment
I've never seen Kendrick stans say another rapper's parents dying is karma for a diss track, clown someone on here for being evicted because they made a post about Kendrick or DM someone on IG over some KTT beef
Imma keep my mouth shut bout your first point
Her new single is mid and everyone knows that. I don’t think she should stick to the straight rap lane. She’s better off doing the pop / rap vibe cause that’s what everyone likes. The beat for the single is what f***ed up the song in the first place.
That thread really had classic moments man
