Potentially the first celebrity within rap/hip-hop to speak out on either of issue?
She didn't lie once.
In between her wild and crazy takes she lands one. This is one of em
Yeah she's said some stuff in the past, but she's always been closely aligned to the LGBTQ+ community - performing at Drag Balls and calling out homophobia for years.
She's said some crazy s*** defending herself over the years - but when she's used slurs in the past, she's apologised and continued to support.
Her brother is actually trans, and Azealia herself is bisexual, so I think sometimes she says some stuff because she feels entitled to, being part of the community (not excusing some stuff she's said though).
I’m convinced that many rappers are gay. Especially any of them who are constantly projecting tough guy masculinity and hanging with these garishly over-feminized women

Most of the time Azealia Banks be on point once you get past the horrible and god awful delivery in which she says it. (also sometimes she does just go off the rails)
She's very intelligent and very well-read but you can tell there's also a lot of undealt with traumas she got that I'm sure the music industry doesn't help. (plus you can make an argument she definitely dealing with bitterness from the whole industry taking her wave.)
The lack of a filter and just...not knowing how to read a room and not put your point on things that have nothing to do with you (not like the Lil Boosie/Dave Chappelle thing) I'm putting that on the trauma.
yeah the lil nas x stuff was wild af
but the dave chappelle s***, i mean he’s a comedian and they sometimes say outlandish s*** as a social commentary of sorts. whether it lands with the audience or not is another question
Is it the view of KTT that the Chappelle special was equivalent to what Boosie said?

yeah, besides @Zulaw post, didn't she do an entire rant on Prep?
Boosie sure but Chappell ain’t say nothing crazy. People act like he made some hate speech just cause it’s speech they hate
Also it’s still f*** her

this is such a boring and tired rhetoric. get over it. there are masculine people in the world.

Yea lol when she’s off her meds she is way off the mark
