Even if you don’t like her music it’s clear that she has something artistically that connected with people
If she didn’t have the personality she does she could’ve been way bigger. It’s not just the music for some people that important
her fire ass music is only reason she’s still somewhat relevant.
should be the only reason for a music artist
true. it's too late for now tho, she's missed her chance
i personally hate her music but we'd be having a different convo in regards to her success if she took care of herself instead of going about things the way she did
Damn this b**** could be a superstar lowkey
she is a superstar at her core but just made some bad choices
Yall go too far when you say "superstar"
Her music is still too out there for the mainstream. Her ceiling would have been MIA level success, she wouldn't have been no Meg the Stallion
But she s too much of a headcase to even do that cuz she just can't help but to burn every bridge behind the scenes. Had she come up in an age before social media existed she might ve been able to at least hide her nuttiness like Lauren Hill did for a few years
Azealia Banks > Megan Thee Stallion
Call me when The Guardian gives Azealia 5 stars
she is a superstar at her core but just made some bad choices
"some" is an understatement
she kind of dragging this house sound though.
she birthed the house rap sound my g.

you have a point but I would argue she would be a bit more popular because of her personality, MIA way more lowkey
Uptown biases aside, I always thought at the root of it all of Azealia's issues come from the fact she truly did influence a lot of that "future bounce/rapping on house" sound and niggas just up and ran with it my g. (coughLikeGoldlinkcough)
It's kinda like the PND effect except waaaaay more talented.

Soundwise they cover the same kinda ground tho
I guess you got a point that with her loud personality she coulda been huge as far as celebrity status, I was talking music career wise
