I just don't understand why people turned on her so fast. Them was alright, it wasn't terrible. I never watched the Chi, but that's because the trailers never appealed to me.
People confirming their own beliefs about her based on some comments during the deangelo verzuz is what I really find annoying.

I think it’s mainly cause master of none was a high ass bar she hasn’t necessarily lived up to coupled with people looking at her in a hotep light I guess? Idk, I’m just kinda irrelevant on her at this point

i don't hate lena waite. i haven't seen her anywhere except this show. i hate that aziz has taken a backseat and we won't see any more of dev shah's character and his life story. thanksgiving episode was cool and all but not worthy to get a full 5 episode order

but hopefully he'll change his mindset if this miniseries is a success and hit us with the real season 3

from the trailer we can see that it's mostly shot inside the house. i assume this is because of the pandemic. so even if aziz wanted a season 3 i doubt he would want it to be so limited in production/locations. that's why he is maybe doing miniseries for now instead of an actual full fledged season
