Mountain DudeInteresting theory: personally it's believable that this MAGA cult will turn into something along the lines of Al-Qaeda but with a much less presence. The fascist attacks they'd carry out would also probably be more sporadic and hard to pin point. Most of these wackjobs who call for "civil war" are like overweight middle aged men who just LARP as "soldiers" but would never last a full day in basic training.

Yeah and that's true. I've been keeping track of how unhinged the GOP is getting lately, and it's not even close to being the "same recognizable party" from even on 2016 when they elected Trump. They've now fully embraced authoritarianism and fascism. People can say well you're just throwing around buzz words. But no, seriously, it's that bad. When you have these so called "activist groups" who supports "Republican values" quoting Hitler out in the open without much push back it's time to throw the towell in and realize there's something very insane happening on the interior of that party. We have allowed the radicalization of a large part of the Republican party, in which can and will exploits the weakness of our election and governing process, from gerrymandering, to the Electoral College, to how the Senate is made up, which will drip down to the selection of judges all across the country.
