    not sure why you feel his sound is so weird

    I didnt say his sound is weird, I'm saying this site wouldn't be putting him on a pedestal as much as he is.

    I dont think it's much about his music that STICKS out to me and his voice can be a bit hard to get used to at first.

    That being said, his Savior verse was probably one of my favorite verses of that year. I was pleasantly shocked

    Lmaooooo and to me the whole nepotism argument is so tired, the reason I like Keem to begin with was KTT posting about his tapes when they first came out before the Kendrick s*** was anything more than rumors. Like this site was early and turned on him so hard, it’s so lame

    Turned after knowing Kendrick was actually his cousin because of their dumbass Stan wars.

    Kendrick wrote for him from the beginning

    I’m not saying he wasn’t involved but DFMB had a more distinct identity and had potential to resonate with a wide audience, and it felt natural for Keem.

    Once he “came out of the closet” as a Kendrick offshoot, they felt the need to shift his artistry into more of a Kendrick esque/kanye fan bait “artsy” direction which imo was one of the biggest creative mistakes early in a career I’ve seen in a long time. Doesn’t fit him as an artist since he’s not deep or thoughtful, and boxes him into a certain audience and status.

    Not to mention presenting him as a glorified sidekick rather than his own man which is going to give him the Beanie Siegel syndrome, no ones ever gonna see you as the real guy,you’re the guy under the guy.

    I know it’s not like he’s out here failing, but in my eyes, pgLang and Kendrick have failed Keem at this point

    Kendrick wrote like 5 songs on Die for my B**** and 4 songs in Sound of Bad Habit. I think he’s only helping Keem do what Keem wants to do
