That’s definitely true for certain things and untrue for others. GKMC and DAMN are obviously good. S.80, TPAB, MM…not so much. Definitely not near the same quality as GKMC but people try to act like they are.
Range Brothers, Family Ties, obviously good. This s***? No. If another artist dropped this is would be treated like the trash it is. No denying that at all.

I miss when rap had superstars that was undeniably running s***, today rap is not only decentralized in numbers (more artists, sales leveling out) it’s also more decentralized in quality as well

Honestly that’s the only rap project I’ve had on repeat this year. Killer Mike’s will be when it comes out but other than that I’ve never had a year like this so dry musically.
