I think drake best albums have REALLY good songs that sometimes overshadow filler which is the case with take care nwts is a little more contained but that has flaws as well. One thing for sure drake def has the most classic standalone songs in the big 3 he just don’t have that undeniable through and through classic yet

I'm more talking about the gap between his pure rap talent and his artistic vision as a pop star. I think Drake would body Kendrick and Cole and whoever else on a RAP RAP collab. He could remix whoever's song and outshine them. Nobody is outbaring him. He's got a sharp eye for the trends and production that's hot. He rarely sounds like he's trying too hard. Almost none of this translates to his vision as a pop artist making pop records which I find pretty middling.

It's fine if people enjoy Drake. I give him all kinds of flowers. Not all music has to cater to dusty old me
