honestly i had to curb my expectations a lil as i listening. in my mind i was hoping for more of the explosive creativity of the melodic blue.

in the livestream, he talked about his grandma passing, and with that information i could sense some grief throughout the project.

i can def see why he pulled 3k as a reference point and inspiration, quite a few of his recent features have that kind of mournful vibe like on the ends and life of the party.
