Is it mysterious if he dropped a documentary with footage from his early childhood and where he grew up with a snippet, a release date and tracklist with a tour? I really like the short rollout

Yah it's been a while but from my understanding it's because a family member died and he had surgery on his throat / vocals or whatever. I wouldn't be shocked if he addresses his absence on the album

And I had absolutely 0 hype for a Baby Keem project a week ago, but I love this rollout so far

no promo…is mysterious. come on lol. nigga not even telling you the importance of the doc or why his aunt is the focus/director. you can loosely get a theme of the project, but even what Dot is describing in his part then his loosie don’t line up. he probably was smelling crack being cooked or whatever d**** they were surrounded by at the family parties in they house, but niggas not making that connection when they hear that snippet thanks to the mystery of the promo

like sure it will be revealed come album time, but no build up into it is mysterious. there’s no lore for niggas to dig into before the project since there’s no “melodic blue was getting pleasure out the way, here’s my pain” type statements

the documentary was interesting but not anything we didn’t already know about Keem, it leaves room for discussion to lack cause there’s 3.5 years of silence not spoken to

No doubt I'd like an interview or two where he discusses the last 5 years really but in terms of what this album is going to be specifically I got what I need. The Clipse rollout we heard some of those songs in full like 2 whole years before the album came out I do like going into this one blind

Cole's rollout was probably a perfect middle ground of the two if you start from the official announcement being like 2 weeks before the album + he posted notes, cover art, a single, a mixtape etc
