  • I thought this was alright. I think they nailed the aesthetics, the mood, and the music. I also enjoyed most of the acting but it loses me at the story.

  • having no prior knowledge of the lore, this was a banger.

    it's funny seeing some of the comments on reddit (i will assume they're literal kids/teens) misunderstanding what was a pretty spelled out plot/theme(s).

    i had no issues with the story, as i think that's as good as you could have done given the nature of the backrooms themselves. it wasn't too much, but also not too little.

    Legit most boring concept for a movie I think I’ve ever seen

    The set design and cinematography is what sold most people in the trailer and now I realize why the trailers were so vague. The script was pretty much non existent. Take away the lore and this movie falls flat as a concept.
