Went on a date with a girl who I really got along with last Friday. We agreed to go on a date this upcoming Saturday. In the past she responded to my texts hours after reading them. She primarily uses Snapchat to communicate (which I don’t have) and is admittedly a bad texter. But she wanted to remind me of our date this week. I did yesterday and now I’m left on read. I can’t tell if she just doesn’t feel the need to respond or is ghosting. Hasn’t unmatched me on Hinge. Hoping we go out again.

Listening young fella, some people are absolutely bad texters. This is true, but if you have really piqued their interest and there’s a strong attraction they will always respond in a timely manner or at least within a days time.

This not to say they’re not interested if their not responding frequently. It could also mean they’re nervous or waiting to get to know you more before making you a daily part of their life. It might just take more time and more frequent face-to-face interactions.

you're overthinking it. Be like water. If it's meant to be, the date will happen. Just follow up the morning of to see if it's still going down. She probably doesn't feel the need to put as much effort into texting since the first date already happened. Most people are bad texters and hate small talk convos.
