It's ridiculous how flawless his flow is in this (and in Relapse overall), if you take the substantial meaning of hip hop you know how hard and beautiful is this rhyme scheme. And ffs how the hell could Dre make an arab beat something hard like that
Relapse my favorite em album but this one of the worst songs on there lol
I can actually vibe with this song p well until the Christopher Reeves part. Really f***ing unbearable
this is his best album and I'll die saying this.
he put his all into every song.. wish he would have rerecord this for the anniversary with the normal voice so people could appreciate how lyrical this album was.

It's easily his most artistic album, it's cohesive, with a very unique image attached to it, gassed by Dre's production of course. And I strongly disagree on recording with his normal voice, the accent is one of the reasons it's so unique, and it doesn't bother me overall
If it wasn't for Encore, Em discog run until Relapse would be the GOAT in hip hop. Even though Encore still better than anything he made from 2010 onwards
I'll never get the defense of this album. Same with WTT, yeezus, 808s, and TPAB. Divisive s*** like this just not for me but a lot of Em stans really fw this sht. It do got some gems tho. My Darling is peak dark rap>>>

His flows and cadences on the album are just so good. That accent he did really let him go crazy. I don’t even really love any of the beats, I don’t love any of the hooks
but from a flow stand point and how he was structuring the rhymes and cadences, every single verse during this era had at least 5% of some genius in it.
And it’s not like modern em/logic where it’s technically good rapping because it’s fast and 10000 syllables a minute.
It’s still slow and listenable but it’s truly so creative and great. If you can look past the sometimes corny Dre beats, the sometimes bad hooks AND the almost always slightly cringe OTT lyrics, it has some genius in it
I’m not an em stan by any means but I sometimes find myself wanting to hear these dense, bouncey raps that were all over relapse.

2024 he’s dropping Slim Shady Relapse using the shady voice. Everybody who cares leaves happy

I understand criticisms for literally every album he said except WTT. What’s the problem on that album?

He has a lot of his best flows on this album for sure.
3 Am, Medicine Ball, Bagpipes from Baghdad, Underground,
