Dude I am so bad at this game lol. Im always needing to rest or I can't make it through two combat encounters.
And the dice rolls, I'm failing constantly.
Resting is not a bad thing aslong as you got the camp supplies it should actually be encouraged since your companions might talk so dont feel bad about it.
Another thing if you fail dicerolls is to check your classes stats and proficiencies. They are what make up the bonuses you see under the dice roll. Lockpicking for example uses dexterity and the proficiency sleight of hands.
If you want to win dialogues with your main character who does the talking it would be encouraged to go a charisma scalling class. The stat boosts deception, performance, persuasion and intimidation which are frequently in dialogues and can get you along way. Thats why the sorcerer, paladin, warlock or bard usually make for great protagonists.
Is anyone else experiencing a weird delay alot when clicking to talk to someone? I swear my ps5 is s*** running this game⦠textures loading in everywhere
Need tips plz
During dialogue, if you have multiple options pop up, hit the tool tip button (R3) and youāll see the specialized dialogue options have a box pop up on the left and itāll tell you whatever bonuses you have thatāll improve your chances with rolls.
Also, remember to take advantage of things like elevation, itās key for long range attacks.
All potions can be used amongst the group by getting them close together and throwing it on the ground, so use speed potions and the like before battles.
Last, carefully read the descriptions of spells/abilities, and examine magic weapons/armor/items to get more detailed information of what they do.
And if you havenāt already, turn off karmic dice.

BG3 and missing a 80% hit chance attack <> XCOM and missing a 80% hit chance attack
Wish there was a trial I could download to see if I like this. The high praise and hype makes me wanna get it but idk if the gameplay is for me. Ugh
Cant wait for a second playthrough just to see how different s*** can be when you go a totally different route.
On the other hand this s*** is so long I might be gassed by the time I finish lmao
Definitely want to play this but don't have the time between life and Starfield and 2K coming
Maybe around the holidays when the sales hit

Iāll probably wait a year or two for the replay.
By that point who knows how much stuff will have been added to the game.
This game is a perfect tutorial for other crpgs
Booted up pathfinder again and I suddenly understand the s*** they are saying

Wish I could play Pathfinder, but both ports (Kingmaker and WOTR) are apparently absolute garbo.

That sucks cause at the very least wotr is a phenomenal game and I see it together with Baldurs Gate 3 as the renaissance of crpgs
Think I beat Act 1, 32 hours in sheesh.
Next playthrough muscle mommy Karlach getting that pipe laid on god
