thankfully they got back to me already and said they will be sending replacement items once they are manufactured. which is better than me thinking i could return for refund and be s*** out of luck.

Man, I’m assuming Patch 3 must have had a big impact on performance because I haven’t experienced much, if any, frame rate drops or stutter in Act 3.
Definitely still needs a bit of work though, have had a couple instances of dialogue trees repeating with companions, and Gale accusing me of doing something that I hadn’t even gotten to yet.

Also, it does kind of suck a little how many of the characters you meet up with from previous acts are kind of just like “Yo, good to see you again!” and it’s basically left at that.

Mainly the tieflings.

Not an issue if none if the tieflings survive act 3 for you

I was struggling so much with the Raphael fight. Then I had a brainwave and got Gale to do Otto’s dance move and just got Lae’zel to pummel his ass for 5 turns :koolaid:

Its massive for a game of its type but I dont think the PS5 sales put it over 15 mil

Mine was fine throughout tbh, but my PS5 is brand new so idk if that plays any part.

Small lag spikes in Act 3 (you’re in a condensed city) but otherwise it ran fine throughout

Finished the game last night. Overall I’d give this game a 9/10 I think — up there with RDR2, Persona 5, and TW3 for my favourite game I’ve played in the past however many years.

However: spoilers the ending was pretty f\*\*\*ing lame, huh. Weak boss battle + not even getting to talk to my crew after the game. Very ass

The ending and finale battle really ruin the set up replay value of the game to me

I hope they add ending slides that show how your decisions in the game affected the world and let you also speak once more to your companions.

Also that final stretch of 3 fights should imo be completely redone

They did release that statement explicitly saying they plan on addressing the ending of the game.

I don’t think they’ll be doing a full on “definitive edition” of the game though, a la Divinity OS 1/2.

Sven himself said he’s done with the game creatively, which suggests there likely won’t be any significant alterations to anything narrative wise, so probably best bet is obvious bug fixes, maybe reworked fights and some additional dialogue and scenes added here and there to flesh things out, but not to alter.

Don’t see entire Act restructuring or new quests or new companions being added like with Divinity either.

The way I beat it was by using summonings, making the spellcasters the priority and doing aoe damage. I kept gale at top stairs when you enter the building I had him use counterspell for darkness, fireball for aoe and firewall and lightning bolt when they are lined up.

I had jaheira summon a fire myrmidon before the fight so it can take care of the spellcasters. The good thing about the fire myrmidon it can teleport with a bonus action so it has good movement. I kept jaheira positioned on the right side so they all won't be in the middle in darkness.

I had my tav use danse macabre form the thay necromancy book before the fight. They dont really do damage I used them mainly for distraction. During the battle i had him doing aoe damage. Shadowheart was just used for support
