Goddamn, there’s no shot Larian predicted the game would blow up to this degree.

And full credit to the voice actor and the amazing animations they gave him.
He a bit annoying but some of his lines and deliveries are an absolute blast. Like him reacting to be buried under the Temple of Lavander and you resurrect him

One thing I think this game could have added would have been a Citadel DLC type quest. Give a sequence of events that involve your whole party while allowing/encouraging you to choose your combat party based on story beats in the quest. Would have forced you to interact with party members you don't usually use and get more party banter/personality from them.

Could still be DLC I suppose. Not really a critique just something I think is the best part from the Mass Effect series

A Citadel type deal would be sick. Theyre crazy if they dont do some DLC for this. Especially with all the complaints about act 3 and the lack of closure with a lot of character stories.

Being able to f*** them all and then knowing how to hit gamers right in their G spot has immensely propelled themselves and the game

It’s currently $94 + tax in Canada for this. Hard to justify spending over $100 for a game imo.

would I like this even if I dont like turn based games?

Difficult to say. Sorry for long reply in advance

• Many people that dont like turn bases already said that they enjoyed it alot.
• The game is very interactive and dynamic with its turn based.
• every encounter is a different challenge like new puzzle (so no random encounters everything is quality)
• Lots of synergy with the environment and other spells. With every level you get new tools that you can use in and out of combat.
• Huge variety and you can reskill anytime. So while it can be overwhelming figuring out your options and whats good is kinda part of the fun

If that sounds good to you I would give it a shot. I said it before but you cannot stress enough how interactive the environment is with the spells and tools you have at your disposal. People frequently go hundreds of hours into the game and go "what? That actually works?" which can be incredibly rewarding. And its not stuff you wouldve never thought of its genuine logical cool synergies you nonstop discover.

BUT there are fights that are definitely slow especially when they are clustered with enemies. People have asked for a speed up button but so far the devs havent delivered.

Idk what to say, except it's a f***ing masterpiece.

Give it time to click with you, because i wasn't really sure about it and then after a few hours just like the witcher 3, it quickly became one of my favorite games of all time.

Depends on how much you like the story/world/characters I think. The combat was by far the weakest part of the game for me but everything else made it worth it.
