Trying to decide on whether or not I should restart my current Durge playthrough as a Paladin (Vow of Devotion).
I want to be an Oathbreaker and potentially make some more evil decisions this go around, but don’t know if I could justify siding with the goblin camp with this character. That seems TOO evil.
As I said before playing with a conflicted Dark urge and having shadowheart and Minthara in your party is a fantastic experience. Its like you all share in your struggle and it matches up very well.
They finally made it so you can simply knock Minthara out now and take her as a companion without killing the tieflings
Honor mode always such rewarding experience. Always makes you think twice of what you should say and if you should engage in combat.
Raises the stakes you feel by so much during the playthrough
You gonna keep trying?
yeah might wait for the next patch since there seems to be new bugs with this patch. not fun to lose hours upon hours due to no fault of my own.
next time I'm always keeping a party member split ready to flee any situation

Yeah I been having crashes now which never happened to me since release in August

Yeah, only problem is if you accidentally turn someone hostile because the game acted kind of weird.
Had the NPC in the storeroom at the Grove turn hostile because I tried to leave the storeroom by going out the door (instead of the hole in the wall), and she immediately turned hostile and isn’t reverting back.
Don’t know if I could justify an evil playthrough now though with the new Minathra past, seems like all you really get out of it is less content, unless I’m wrong, but companions are such a big part of this game that I can’t help but feel like such a playthrough would feel incredibly empty.
honour mode act 1 complete
lae'zel dead
halsin dead
minthara dead
zevlor dead

The boss fights are scary af

Im scared to see what the rest will do.

on my honour i will defend her with my single save file
anyone know what the best comprehensive guide would be for people unfamiliar with DND but want to try BG3 out?
ugh died again in honour mode. tried to save mayrina and auntie ethel used her legendary action free cast of weird magic (creates hag clones) if your party uses a spell
whats a fun class? and maybe not the hardest to play for a noob, I'm picking this up next after I'm done with Spiderman.

Sorcerer and Paladin are awesome for a first playthrough
Both got huge damage and are relatively easy to understand. They also got high charisma which is amazing for dialogues so its like you get the best of both worlds

aight dope! Might go sorcerer then, it was one of the classes I was thinking of
YO I forgot my safe was dark urge
If I dont claim the brain you get a new ending and my god sucks I cant talk to the companions but that was great. Pulling up to the aftershow party like:
I had two saves with Shadowheart romanced and the one where her parents survive is basically just you and her living cottagecore bucolic life and you can adopt owl bear
started another honour playthrough. this time as origin character astarion. pretty cool getting new dialogue between companions this way. definitely going to play through as each of origin characters now.
Absolutely insane
450 people completed honor mode
Accidentally killing her in my current honor mode run is the worst
