KengiThis makes sense Wizards of the Coast/ Hasbro fired alot of people. Swen already called them out directly how nobody from the beginning of the BG3 era was left.
It hurts even more when you read how BG3 made Hasbro 90 milion in direct revenue and massively increased the value of wotc

CrimsonArkThe director of Baldur's Gate 3, Swen Vincke, was one of many to speak out on the recent mass layoffs within the video games industry at an industry awards show last night, blaming the job losses on corporate "greed" that had been "fucking this whole thing up for so long".
"Greed has been f***ing this whole thing up for so long, since I started," Vincke said, while collecting the GDCA Best Narrative award for Baldur's Gate 3. "I've been fighting publishers my entire life and I keep on seeing the same, same, same mistakes over, and over and over.
"It's always the quarterly profits," he continued, "the only thing that matters are the numbers, and then you fire everybody and then next year you say 'shit I'm out of developers' and then you start hiring people again, and then you do acquisitions, and then you put them in the same loop again, and it's just broken...
"You don't have to," Vincke went on. "You can make reserves. Just slow down a bit. Slow down on the greed. Be resilient, take care of the people, don't lose the institutional knowledge that's been built up in the people you lose every single time, so you have to go through the same cycle over and over and over. It really pisses me off."

It seems so f***ing hard to commit to an actual evil playthrough though, because youâll be missing out on so much.
Like, doing a Durge sesh where you give into it at every opportunity seems insane to me.

Bro I just beat my first play through of this game (GOAT) and instantly started a new character because I wanted to try an evil dark urge character run. I got to the starting area in chapter 1 where Gale reaches through the portal and it gave me a dialogue choice to fantasize about chopping his arm off so I chose that, and I actually ended up chopping his arm off. Had to instantly quit the evil play through, I cant handle that s***.

I saved Gale cause I knew he was one of the only ppl who wouldnât leave me for being a murderous wretch

redemption urge hands down the best experience in the game.Shadowheart, Minthara, Karlach and Astarions journeys all become elevated
And the good characters reacting to your own personal journey from condemming to supporting you
