Bought on sale no exp with d&d or divinity or whatever games they made before. Playing tactician difficulty

Was iffy on it at first but starting to come around. I’m a gamer who doesn’t really care about story and lore and I don’t get invested in narratives or quests and s*** so I was worried this game would fall on deaf ears for me. I was just hoping the gameplay would be enough to keep me playing and so far it has. I’m maybe 6-10 hours in and just ran into Karlach.

theres no wrong. You can do what you want and go where you want.

A good indicator if you are strong enough for an encounter is to check the enemies level. If youre level 3 and they are level 3 it should be smooth sailing. Unless youre playing in an understaffed party ofc then I recommend being over the enemies level

I went to that dank crypt just me and shadowheart and got smoked when they jumped me

Reloaded and found gale and went back and got smoked again

There’s like 7 of them camping and I didn’t want to level up anyone cus I was researching builds

Only two:

• One: vanilla playthrough self insert
• Two: redemption Dark Urge

I think I’ll play a third one later into 2025. Too overwhelmed to come back to it I played my first two back to back lmao

It’s the small tomb literally straight ahead after you find shadowheart on the beach

Inside there’s a b***ytrapped sarcophagus. I kept exploring the tomb after that and eventually opened a door and got jumped by some cornballs

Eventually it’ll lead you to the skeleton who can respec you but I didn’t know at that time

Actually found this myself after I got laezel since it’s close by

Also found a little path off the side of a glyph that takes you right to the respec skeleton tomb without having to fight those clowns

Killed them eventually. Just needed 4 party members and to level up

Is the underdark early or mid game s***? Because Im down there and theres minataurs and big ass worms who hit hard as s***.

Early, though you can hit max level mid game if you do everything

Early but you should be level 4-5 before taking it on imo
