Is loving Clair Obscur a good sign I'd like BG3?
Idk. But both were my favorite game in the year they released.
Crpg's aren't my thing but Baldurs gates customizable features and story with the multitude of different branches really drew me in.
Both are 10/10 to me.
Brothers this s*** is addictive!
The game is seriously one of the best I've ever played. I wish people played the multi-player more.
I gotta download 19 mods to get in a game with rando's.
Its still a fantastic game but I've beaten it like 4 times now.
Impulse bought this like a month or two ago, this s*** is great
Its one of the best games ive ever played. I cant believe ive played through it like 8 times

wtf 8 times damn. Game is so big and I play it so slow. Only ever played through once but I’ve had like 6 different characters get halfway through act 1 lol.
Haven’t played in a min so picking this back up going resist dark urge, darkness gimmick party
Is this good if a don’t like fantasy that much? I’d love a cyberpunk/futuristic version of this game

It’s an incredible or even masterpiece of a game but I mean what level of dislike do you have for fantasy settings? It’s literally a Dungeons and Dragons setting, about as fantasy as you can get. I like fantasy but didn’t really know anything about DnD and still enjoyed it a lot

honestly i dont really mess with fantasy settings at all but enjoyed the hell out of this game, one of the more memorable gaming experiences.
that said, i would kill for a more modern/futuristic setting, pretty much the same game exactly like this just not fantasy lmao i wish they would make that

Elder scrolls games are cool but I’m bored by everything beyond that. If the game is truly good, then maybe I can look past it

This is much more fantasy than Skyrim tbf. But the game is just a fantastic CRPG, satisfying turn based combat with deep complexity and insane amount of builds, party/companion based relationships and stories that interweave and tie in with the main story (like classic BioWare level of companions). Just insane amounts of variability to approaching encounters and objectives, like yeah you can be the regular John Shepard who approaches everything directly and is a paragon for good, but you’re only limited by your own creativity for the most part.

Definitely not. Fantasy based with a turn based combat system
Got to a part of act 2 I couldn’t get past and never went back.
But besides that the game is fire

If you like this slower version of turn-based strategy it’s gonna hit
personally I think the writing is so good here you won’t notice the setting as much, I went in also worried if I’d like it because I don’t like that style of turn-based and even then I still really loved it and would probably rate it a 9.5
Now Xbox play anywhere so I own the pc version now
lets go shoutout Xbox
Still have to play this AND Clair Obscur
Sounds like youre in for a damn good time.
Those are my favorite 2 games that have come out since red dead 2
Still have to play this AND Clair Obscur
when you get to it really enjoy it and let it sink in cause I don't think we're ever gonna get another D&D adjacent RPG like this again.

Personally as someone who can't stand most things high fantasy this game is an undeniable classic with infinite replayability.
