This isn’t simply saying you think they haven’t made anything better since but more so how their first record has sort of defined them for better or worse. Not to say that the quality of releases after declining doesn’t also add to this feeling somewhat.

I’d say some good examples are The Strokes, The Cars, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Weezer, A$AP Rocky, The Killers, and Interpol.

his latest ep was the best music he’s made since his debut lol

he went from one most interesting and innovative artists to come out of dubstep scene to kinda interesting but ends up falling short artist

Yeah this has only become more and more clear. James blake over a sawtooth synth and amateur bedroom mixing will never be topped.

The ep is just a big pile of cap. Most of TCIA is amazing and can be respected as the most integral amalgamation of s/t james’ artistic evolution. Everything after TCIA with the exception of a handful of songs has been an absolute tragedy. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it
