If it's just a haircut for $45, then it's not worth it.
One of my barbers washes your hair, gives you a scalp massage, does your beard & gives you a facial for $50.
I pay $35 and I tip my barber, that’s still cheap in comparison to what women have to pay for their hair.
I know a barber who charges $50 and stay booked. The thing is she is an attractive woman and can get away with it. Honestly it’s smart, and surprised I don’t see more women cut hair. It’s an easy bag for them.

A facial?
I just lineup my hair every week on my own and have a low cut to save money.
When i was going to a barber it was like 30 for a cut. S*** a waste of money tbh.Especially since I was getting the same cut I am doing myself now and its much cheaper . Surprisingly looks better to . Realized my barber aint s***

Nigga getting a facial
For real I need to learn how to do my own hair. The whole experience of going to a barber is not worth it for me
Why are you flexing about getting taxed?
Keep in mind I been getting the same service for 5 years and it used to be $25. At $25 compared to $45, the difference is minimal. That’s not to say he’s bogus, but the cuts have always been quality regardless of price. I always get compliments on my cuts. So if I was getting that same quality at $25 and gave this man 5 years of loyalty, why am I, in my right mind, gonna wanna pay $20 more now?
I’m flexing about being in place that pay me a a whole lot more so coming a little out of pocket does not hurt my feelings. Yeah if I was a broke boi then I’d be upset that haircuts are so expensive, but rent ain’t cheap and these barbers gotta live here too. It’s all relative G. Of course I wouldn’t pay no 60 in no broke ass Indiana like that one poster was talkin about, but I’d pay 60 in a premier city with premier b****es. You feel me?
Plus I get that veteran discount plug

A lot of barbers are charging more because business has dipped since the pandemic. They are seeing less customers especially since more and more people are going broke and can’t afford to get expensive haircuts. But if they charge nothing then they’d be broke too especially if they in a place with and expensive lease and their own rent.
So they pretty much have to charge more in hopes of making the same amount they did pre-pandemic.
