    Big props to Berman.

There's a grey area in terms of who can fire Berman. As court confirmed (because ironically the Senate never confirmed it) he is arguing the courts only have that power, or his replacement must have senate confirmation (which the touted replacement does not). Trump can directly remove him. But if he does then its explicit obstruction as opposed to Burr taking the heat as per usual.

Berman has been investigating Giuliani in Ukraine. As well as Trump campaign finance infranctions, Turkey, and Epstein.

If they moved ahead with the firing now, I imagine its close to charges being filed.

Apparently Barr attempted to buy Berman's silence, offering him other, bigger positions in exchange. Berman stood his ground.

Suffice it to say Barr is clearly very worried by this.

Looks likely Berman will testify on Wednesday into political interference.

So Berman stepping down after all but will be replaced by his deputy instead of the Trump appointee. Good I guess?? Still a f***ed situation just not as f***ed as it could have been. Trump and Barr are pathetic

Lmao brazy. I don't see how you can look at s*** like this and say it's not highly problematic to a functioning republic.

Like I get it for Trump voters that are totally brainwashed. But for anyone else...it's not about whether Trump is guilty of crimes or not. It's that he's setting these extraordinarily dangerous precedents. This is exactly how Rome's Republic fell folks.

Because it’s mainly middle to upper class white people who are undecided at this point, you know, the people who are least likely to get affected by any of this.
