Niggas know rent due the first of the month
Ok, now that we agree and you’ve watched Barry, you have to read the beginning of my screenplay
I’m less concerned with how unpredictable a finale is, and more concerned with the way it makes me feel
Barry did many unpredictable things throughout the season to be fair. Many moments where this season 100% will be the least marathonable. I say that as someone who marathoned 1-3. I think this season really nailed the week to week feel. I enjoyed the discussions here of "what you think going to happen next " or "damn is that time jump real"
Didn't 100% land for me due to some leaps in logic but I get what it was going for. I don't think a show can or should solely be judged on being a surprise or not predicted. I simply think Old Ass Nigga is saying that he naturally feels more when he doesn't feel he knows how something will go 100%.
Where anything feels like a possibility so a show feels less redundant or tedious to him. This just the vibes I get based on reading both their comments. But an argument like that especially over a post from 4 days ago isn't necessary. Both Barry and Succession can be enjoyed to different levels based on personal taste lol

Dope
suppose i can embrace the full circle aspect of the finale but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel contrived to a degree
What’s the general consensus here? This really limped to the finish line in my opinion. The entire season felt rushed. I don’t think 30 minute episodes were necessarily the best choice for the story the writers wanted to tell.
overly ambitious maybe, convoluted , not bad at all to have your show go out swinging hard though

This is definitely one of the takes here. Time skip although was a cool choice left some to be desired as well as son angle for many of us. Jim Moss and a few other characters acting slightly out of character. Still enjoyed the ride though not bad
Didn't think this would have a more satisfying ending than succession
You're tripping
started this on friday and im already almost done with s3
hooked fr
episode with barry and the tae kwon do dude the funniest s*** ive seen in a while
I really love how Barry and Succession both ended.
both left me with this existential feeling in different ways.
flowers given to both.

That episode is a masterclass in comedy. Pretentious "Does he know?" type youtubers should be doing video essays on that episode and 710N

Idk about the finale. It was a very cold ending.
That being said the showdown between Fuches and Hank in the lobby was giving me chills prime s***
finished it finally
i really didnt expect to like the show as much as i did, the premise and barry (the character) in general looked so unserious to me but i throughly enjoyed that
sallys f\*\*\*ing insane telling barry to turn himself while shes goes back to having a normal life. (granted her murder was in self defense but still)
