UIPyeah it’s kinda scary how much that user misinterpreted what this episode showed about Barry.
he’s a bigger piece of s*** than ever because now he’s a f***ing hypocrite, preaching the default “good person” bullshit to a child he obviously doesn’t even care about ie. spends his money on Abraham Lincoln biographies while his son is begging for a comforter cuz his room is freezing.
not to mention how he immediately goes back to “killing is the only answer” when he sees Gene on the news lol. there’s absolutely nothing redeemable about Barry. he’s been the biggest POS in the show for multiple seasons now, but he’s absolutely hopeless at this point.
They do great with the dissociative aspect in this episode in particular, the mundanity of this life helps him keep his killer brain at bay…then in an instant …8 hours standing in one place waiting to kill someone lol
