Like, Barry escaping from prison was ridiculous also, but we know the world that this show takes place in, and within that world stuff like that can happen
Even within the show’s world, Jim’s decisions don’t make sense, because they betray what we’ve come to know about him

Jim been a consistent dead ass character all show to only turn into a cartoon character in the penultimate episode of the show. But at this point no character can or should be taken seriously I guess. Sally talking to a cop just ot hallucinate was kind of useless too. If that is all to get at her feeling guilty for killing someone who was trying to kill her
