I must be so out of touch with what people like. I thought it would be Believe What I Say or Pure Souls outside of off the grid, jail and hurricane.

Hook is pretty catchy, not surprised tbh

the hook definitely sounds like a current catchy hook, but i think the rest of the song falls flat. pure souls and believe what i say actually work for the whole song after the hook.

It's got a lot more life when he replaces yachty with shenseea but that doesn't seem to be the version people are playing

But i like the song. To me it sounds like Miss the Rage by Trippie or What's Next by Drake or lots of Carti songs played by a church band, but in a way that's somehow still cool lol

i feel like off the grid has more staying power than Jail. It might not chart top 10, but i think it will stick around longer

I thought Pure Souls would be the standout next to Hurricane too, in terms of commercial appeal. maybe it's too buried late in the album or the gospel outro hurts its streaming potential

that's true. it feels like there's no excuse for features to be forgettable though. Especially when there's more memorable features on the exact same song at the end of the album lol
