I thought the movie was pretty cool in and of itself but I’d prefer more actual spirit of the characters and source material. Honestly we already have the dark Knight trilogy for a realistic dark take do we really need to go even further?

Not that you are going to read it anyway but the villain plot falls apart enough where it soils the entire act. Him becoming a symbol for hope is cool ( in a way) . Me personally would prefer he stayed more myth and let others shine while staying in the shadows was still cool. As long as that plays into the future

Riddler as a villain flooding the poor and trying to assasinate the black progressive mayor with people from 4chan. Was not just comical. It was nonsensical to most of what came before it. Also Alfred target and jealously of Rich waynes adopting Bruce only to kind of throw that away for a bullshit plan

We go from that insane car chase with Penguin in the middle to this DUD final act of batman beating up some internet nerds while riddlers yucking it up in prison completely uninvolved and the great falcone was killed off and penguin uninvolved, mid af finale
