A time-honored Batman tale is coming to the screen with the animated Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One. Supernatural's Jensen Ackles leads the cast as Batman/Bruce Wayne after previously voicing Jason Todd/Red Hood in 2010's Batman: Under the Red Hood.

I love The Long Halloween mainly for the artwork but the plot itself doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. It’s one of those cases where they could actually improve on it.

Yea Long Halloween & the sequel Dark Victory are the storylines where he’s in a Hannibal Lector type role.

What do you mean by hannibal lecter role?

He gives Batman advice on how a holiday-based killer thinks while he’s locked up at Arkham asylum.
