the mechanics legit took a step back from BFV when it had all the reason to get better… especially with this being a modern setting game

you know theres always been a divide between battlefield and like, all the other fps's, right

as in you could like not be a top fragger but just play so good with support and helping your team and be #1 - yall feel that's still possible?

Weapons have dramatically more recoil than any COD game. S***, BF4 guns were lasers, if anything that was closer to COD.

Movement i guess is closer to COD, but I consider it an improvement. Old BF movement felt clunky, the slide and faster sprint feel smooth and necessary for larger, more open parts of the map

I’m very optimistic about the game. Beta was a ton of fun to me, I was hitting all kinds of crazy shots. Can only imagine the cool moments on all of these massive new maps. And we only got to play conquest which can be directionless and frustrating to players. Rush/Breakthrough modes are where battlefield shines imo

The other big complaint is specialists. Whole community is up in arms about this, but I’m not too worried.

BF players hype up its signature class system, but teamplay always relied on comms more than regimented classes. You can still use in-game systems to communicate that you need ammo/heath and the crates are still accessible by any specialist. Specialists just add more toys to play with. I don’t see the issue
