I stole this off reddit, but its exactly how I feel about the maps:
Larger maps with double the players sounds good on paper, but the reality is that this has seemingly ruined the game for infantry. Frankly Kaleidoscope and Discarded are okay, but the others are several orders larger than even the largest empty maps of previous games (think Sinai, Hamada). Engagements typically take place over much greater distance, which compounds the issues of weapon bloom and the increased TTK. Also, because there is so much more ground to cover, infantry speed has also been increased, so you’re typically shooting at distant, fast moving enemies with weak weapons.
Either you spawn into a vehicle, or you will spend half the round running across large football fields of open ground, hoping you’re not spotted by one of several enemy aircraft which you will be powerless to avoid. What cover does exist in the map (in concentrated areas)is largely indestructible, I assume to afford some regular protection against the constant onslaught of vehicles. As a result though, there’s is practically no destruction at all, at least not in a way that evolves thee map over the course of a round.
This is the only usable gun rn with the other marksman gun for medium range. Every other gun has horrible bullet spread.

Yeah but those guns are horrible from even medium distance most of the times. The bullets fly everywhere it’s crazy.
What specialist y’all rocking with? I’m running sentry gun dude for now idk. Sentry gun nice for spotting enemies and the spot follows through walls but wish it had longer range

Game needs some work for sure but I really enjoying it so far.
The Specialist s*** is something I have to get used to. Getting hacked etc. But it's an interesting twist for sure.

DICE does this dumbass misstep all the damn time.
In a few months they'll end up patching out the stupid ass bloom and ironing out the hitreg but they'll already be lapped by the competition and the casuals that they tried to draw in will be long gone while the motherfuckers left playing (mostly BF vets) will say the same old "the game is actually good now, just had a bad launch."
I'm strongly considering just waiting to purchase the next title until they've had a handful of updates but I enjoy the series too much.
Wouldn't even be surprised if they portal'd over BFV and BF1 which have extremely solid elements that were inexplicably left out (movement systems, streamlined reviving, rewarding teamplay, etc...)
