While I’m impressed and enjoying myself, this just simply isn’t a Battlefield game. Movement is extremely weightless and the animations are wayyy too “fast”. These could come off as pointless and minor complaints, but the grounded feel and almost “sluggish” movement of the OG Battlefield games are what gave it the identity. This is clearly just a polished 2042 and a direct competitor to COD. Almost feels like a different franchise and like a new developer that was influenced by both Battlefield and COD decided to make a new IP.

After actually playing it for a bit I kinda agree but it’s still fun at least, which is much more than I can say about 2042. They really have a lot of tweaking to do in order to make this a proper BF

BF graphics might’ve peaked with BF 1 & 5 for awhile but this isn’t the final build so I’ll wait

They used to have some of the best looking games.

Modern fps players are too concerned with “muh shmovement” and racking up kills instead of being good teammates and trying to win objective. Everything is played like cod now. S*** is so infuriating

Between this and the last few CoDs, where is all the talent going when it comes to crafting good maps? It seems like a lost art now

I agree. I feel like Fortnite also is a contributor to this issue especially in regards to how quick people like to move. I don’t play it anymore but that was one thing I enjoyed about R6S is that you had to be methodically about gameplay. Yeah you could rush in and get kills, but that could easily be countered.
