I’m talking about why he doesn’t have much of a market anymore
Summer Walker just had a number 1 album....
How old is Usher, 43?
Yeah, he'll make another album. He's still young in the grand scheme of things.
Usher seems like pop to me.
Hasn't been any proper r and b artists since trey songz tbh.... New artists.

ik what you tryna get at cause i kinda agree but this isn’t true
that edm pop r&b sound that usher and chris brown delved into was definitely the worst era ever tho
Summer Walker just got a number 1 album fam.
That album is hard and its the first r and b album I've heard in a long time with that true soulful energy to it
The Confessions 2 rollout came and went. Nobody even knows the singles he put out for it.
Nigga even started a fake beef with Abel for promo.
He'll always be a legend though.
I didn’t know about ANY of this lol what is Usher doing? 😂
This is a LIE
How so?
Where is the next
Dream
Avant
Trey songz
Pretty ricky
Tank

Who else in R&B, other than SZA, has even come close to that in the last 5 years?

Do you see my point? And even if I extend it to last 10 years, it would only be Trey Songz and Chris Brown.

Tory Lanez before the shooting was close though.
Yup. All those singles he put out in 2020 like that one with Ella Mai were meant to be for Confessions 2 but they gained no real traction.
And he took a jab at the Weeknd over an interview about Climax having Abel's influence only to be sonned by his own producer who clarified that the song was inspired by him.
It's not looking good for Usher hype wise but he already has a GOAT run that's cemented so it's all good.
wtf. I actually loved that Ella mai joint he dropped and thought it was a good direction for him to go, old school + new school vibes
had no idea it was for a Confessions 2 rollout now im more pissed off.
that song has 31 million views on youtube what more do he need man
