Funny how
@PerryTheMADLADYPUS could u put trab face on joe
I agree it got played out but I don’t see the issue with it on type s***. It was done perfectly
Travis flat out ruined Fair Trade I can’t forgive him
Fair trade was unnecessary
I can agree that most of them are unnecessary but the only switch that was bad was p**** & millions imo
Fair Trade both beats nice in my opinion and a shift in pace was appreciated, still a flawless song and the best on CLB to me
I think artists only call him up when they want someone to shift the mood on a song that they can’t stretch for more or they already planned a beat switch on the song so it’s not him saying nah I can’t hop on this give me a beat switch, mood-setting is probably his strength as a feature artist surely not the bars or like some insane wordplay so these artists call him for that specific beat switch n verse cameo
P**** and Millions was one of the most flagrant, I always HATED that f***ing beat switch bro that 1st half one of the best beats I've heard Drake on in a minute
S*** pissed me off so bad that was the last straw for me. F*** Travis and his trash ass gimmicks. He has no artistic depth
OP shot the f*** out
from the beginning i always thought trav shouldn’t be featured if the song didn’t sound like a trav songfirst and foremost
I agree it got played out but I don’t see the issue with it on type s***. It was done perfectly
Yea that was tasteful, niggas can’t fathom hearing a song with a few more layers to it
If he just did a regular verse over the beat, that would’ve meant the same beat woulda been on loop for another 45 seconds to a minute or so. Type S*** woulda been a mind numbing listen
There’s good examples and there’s bad examples, cant imagine not being able to appreciate the good ones
It’s a kinda cool branding move tho the fact that we all associate that with him lol
I can’t even think of many mainstream beat switches that have worked well in the 2017-2020’s era
Company only good one in op
