I'm not that familiar with the genre's history so I can't tell, but I've seen a lot of stuff being referred to as bedroom pop, like just a lot of indie pop albums in general, esp if there's a lofi element in it. Maybe the meaning hasn't changed but just got lost through time, at least from what I've been seeing
