true but I'm biased because of those songs
plus you can take the "Artsy" approach like critics and stans and say the album is messy/fragmented on purpose and all the weird songs are part of the aesthetic he was going for or w.e
I get why you can say it's trash tho
I like it's vibe/aesthetic better than yeezus but hate yeezus for same reason u hate TLOP
i hate both albums for the same reason
Kanye had a good 6 year run, 04 to 10. Not everybody can be a Drake.
Ban for last part.
Drake is about to enter his second prime stay tuned
Fell off in 2016 artistically. I don't care if Views was commercially successful.
Matter of fact, he fell off worse than Kanye by far. Scorpion was already s*** on and I don't see him making something better. IRL people mention how tired of the dude they are.
You tripping and mad boring if you ain’t having a blast on TLOP
There's a few really great songs on that album but as an album it's not good

The care package was a classy just last year. Scorpion three 10 plus week number 1 songs and won a Grammy.

Really? if we gonna get technical there’s a good concept that keeps it together for how wide it sound is (going from gospel to house, etc), it’s not an official double album but as is it’s a great double album imo some hard bangers on it

Don't ever cite the Grammy's as an indicator for anything bro, that selection is garbage.
Commercial isn't quality, Nothing was the same and take care (before it aged like milk) had both kinds of success. IYRTITL was the same. He fell off with views and scorpion especially
He's a mainstream star and will always sell big just like any pop star regardless of quality.
And care package was just old songs from the ovo soundcloud wtf lmao

To me it just feels like an album with no clear vision and the whole "It's an view into the fractured mind of someone that's mentally ill" thing just feels like something they came up with to excuse the fact that Kanye lacked the vision and direction that he had on his best albums

I don’t look too much into the mental idea, I just noticed over listens that there’s a good touch of soul and gospel samples and vocals that sticks it all together no matter how far the album goes, like it’s actually a coherent non cohesive album if that makes sense
But that’s me, I just think the album actually aged like wine like it was one of the last biggest pop culture impact and left some marks
Every artists eventually hits a wall of relevancy. Some can fade into the background and put up some lil s*** here and there like Wayne, Rocky, Cole for quick examples.
Drake will be honestly be there after his next album unless he does something really different.

The Grammys only matter when niggas that yall like are winning. Nah, scorpion a classic just on the bases of how man hits it had and it is forever cemented with a grammy. Care package are Drake's work over a period of time and is still a classic. It doesn't matter if they were on Limewire.

Only a stan will call scorpion a classic just like Ye stan defending JIK
Grammies gave that trash ass album by Cardi AOTY I don't want to hear it bro.

I mean I definitely don't hate it I think it's his second best solo album since MBDTF, I can see where you're coming from. I think if they cut a few tracks and left the ones with the soul and gospel sound that you're talking about it would be a great album. Just too long and goes in too many directions IMO.

Care Package kind of proves @King_Azei point, the songs are all 5-6+ years old and it's the best sounding "album" he's put out in years.
And citing care package is proving my point that Drake fell off lmfao, a compilation album filled with prime 2010 - 2014 hits

Yeah I could prolly skip some songs someday but it’s so hard to make a double album that’s worth it, TLOP is one of the only ones that lives up

Make sure you prefix that as being your opinion
