Samsung TV's have this built in subscription free cable alternative called TV Plus and there's a channel that just plays Degrassi 24/7 and whenever I turn my ps5 off it defaults to that channel.
It's my first time watching the show at all and despite the fact that I have no previous connection to it it's making me feel uncomfortably nostalgic, and not necessarily in a way that makes me feel good.
The portrayals of school and the fact that they actually use properly aged actors takes me back to my youth and while I'm sure there's some of me that feels uncomfortable because I miss it and wish I could go back, I think more than anything it makes me feel uncomfortable because of just how quickly time flies. I feel like I was just in Junior High. This June will mark 7 years since I graduated high school and that s*** feels like yesterday.
I'm sure I'll blink and I'll be 30, married, kids, etc. Hell it's been 6 years since Ds2 came out.
Not really sure the point of this thread beyond just sharing my thoughts, but time flies. Get busy living, this s*** gonna be over before you know it.
TL;DR Smash Mouth wasn't kidding
i think it's actually a pretty good show and worth a watch
they tackled some significant topics and i'd say they handled them really well for the most part

It kicks the 2000s American TV alternatives in the ass
frankly i can’t remember a thing about it despite having watched it all the time on The N. lol, remember than channel?
aging rlly is the wildest thing ever like wtf
they did a much better job at damn near every topic then their TV show counterparts
was still some over the top drama at parts but at least it felt like a damn high school lol
I never watched the drake seasons but I remember seasons 10-12 or 13 being absolutely wild for no reason

Which seasons? 1-JT only for me
Which seasons? 1-JT only for me
More than anything just being reminded of being back in elementary and high school again
the kitchen nightmares channel thing >>>
Bro I went crazy on that like a week or two ago lmfaooo. Movie channel isn’t bad either. They’ll have some gems
But also the reason I’ve never been able to take Drake seriously, unfortunately. I’ll never not see him as Jimmy, and it’ll never not be weird to me that Jimmy is most of the world’s favorite rapper.
I remember in middle school my ex was into it and i watched it one night and i was hooked lmao
