So I saw this article randomly the other day, and took it to mean that basically Android users are able to message with iPhone users, just as iPhone users can message with each other over iMessage (only need WiFi, high res media, etc)

Anyone here with an Android use it and able to verify I’m understanding this correctly? If so, holy s*** I can finally get rid of this massively overpriced piece of junk iPhone and get a Pixel again

Nevermind false alarm: it does kind of work like that, but it sends iMessages through your iMessage email, so if someone texts your phone number it will just be sms

this is kinda tight lemme see if they have job openings lol
