could you give me an example?

Blindly voting democrat and you don’t know why and getting trump out vs calling everything the dems do a complete sham and saying they care about no one at all and they hate minorities. And saying they never do anything good

    ^

The 2 extremes but in the end you ended up getting a bigger problem out of the picture

ok that is true, but i was referring more to something like covid 19 or false flag operations that can indirectly/directly cause harm to others

well we know for a fact that covid is real, hella people have died, anybody that is questioning something right in front of their eyes is an idiot

You’d be suprised I’m in Cali and some (ex) friends are turning into armchair scientists and are deliberately spreading misinformation

you could say this s*** doesn’t exist and go out In public not knowing your sick and accidently lead to some people dying VS you listened to everything they told you about covid and only went out if it’s for the store or the docs/essential job, wore masks absolutely everywhere and only socialized with people in your house.

Might cause you some trouble in your mind not being out there but you can also tell yourself that you did your best to keep someone alive vs you possibly getting sick and dying yourself/living with the guilt that you may have lead to someone else’s death. And guilt is a really heavy thing

  • Nov 11, 2020

    uhm

questioning nothing does put others in danger.

Exactly that’s why if I had to pick a side I’d question nothing

Personally, I don’t wear a mask if I’m outside somewhere and I haven’t been to large social gatherings, I see my gf and see some friends but I don’t think I’ve hanged out with like more than 3-4 people at a time and I don’t go inside there home

Because I concluded from logical reasoning as long as I’m being responsible & not exposing myself to a large number of people at the time I’m being smart about it but I don’t need to doom and gloom over it

There's levels to this s***. Nuance. The type of discussion that you can only dream to have on ktt2.
And everyone chooses their own facts to fit the narrative they want that justify their lifestyle and their actions. Everyone wants change but nobody wants to change you know?

Most people far more interested in telling you what they know to be true rather than learning what is true. No dialogue anymore.

Now a lot of people rolling their eyes at me because they seen me absolutely railroad mfers about veganism leaving no room for "discussion" on it.

Man it just so happens that it's like the only f***ing thing I know to be true.

So you get these "skeptics" that are also diehard traditionalists in certain ways it's really weird. Like only certain things can be questioned, other things can't be. So they fly off the handle when you try and subvert their reality. You tell them that beef is incredibly harmful for the environment, is the primary driver of rainforest deforestation, and is known to cause heart disease and they can't integrate that. But they might not even know why!

They may tell you it's their right or it's because animals are beneath them or whatever but when it comes down to it it may be something like "You can't tell me it's wrong to eat beef because my mom always made me meatball minestrone soup when I was sick as a kid" So subconsciously you've struck en emotional nerve that starts a chain reaction.

Moral of the story is emotions drive reactions and most peoples emotional IQ in the dumpster. People also flock to conspiracy theories as way to take control back over their lives in a weird way.

See yeah I won’t lie I’m not completely informed on the perspectives of veganism but i did not know those insights it and I literally don’t know the arguments for only veganism so I’m not gonna be an armchair nutritionist and defend my right to eat meat

I dont like how people talk about conspiracy theories as if theyre all fake and stupid. Do you think that no one conspires? Lmao.
Clearly the phrase’s name has been tarnished whether intentionally or unintentionally

Also hate when people mix up “conspiracy” and “conspiracy theory”

ok no my definition of a sheep is different

a sheep is someone who will follow blindy

a skeptic is someone who beleives in conspriacy theories

A skeptic is someone who is skeptical (ie doubtful) about ANY concept. That could include anything, its not limited to conspiracy theories

  • The more I question life and the purpose of the things I'm doing, the less happy I feel. IMO sometimes ignorance is bliss. You're ultimately gonna die and be forgotten just like everyone else, so no point in overthinking your life. Just enjoy the day-to-day

With that being said, you should always question things if they seem to be leading to hardship for the people around you. Be happy and mindful, but don't be complicit if others are suffering

well the thing is there actually are legit conspiracy theories(nsa, giving black men syphillis, false flags) but the thing is nowadays conspiracy theories are getting ridiculously far too dangerous

At first, it was stupid sht like cryptozoology and aliens, machine elves. now about how george sorros owns the world, the cabal, obama was bor in Kenya, Hilary eats babies, there a major pedophile ring and now they are discarding our free & fair elections

conspiracy theories used to be silly and ridiculous, now because everybody has a voice with the internet these xenophobic messages are transcending to the mainstream news media
