The CIA funding is probably not as impactful as the tankies want it to be. The opposition to lukashenko is organic. If the cia were so powerful in setting off the protests lukashenko would have been gone way earlier

I'm sure the NED have done things to back the protesters but honestly, it's not that big a deal and spending more energy criticising that than lukashenko stuffing ballots and whacking journalists is a bit telling of some people on here

Also a fake bomb threat on a passenger plane and an escort by a fighter jet on lukashenko orders isnt just an interruption of someones day, it is an act of terrorism

EU needs to cut all the ties with Belarus. Trade, swift, airlines, etc. F*** the north stream too. Sadly these soy mfs won’t do s***. Lukashenko and Putin just do whatever and get away with it. Start a war in Europe? Rape, torture and murder peaceful protestors after seizing the power? Hijack a plane to murder a journalist? Shoot down a plane? Annex the territory? Murder the opposition leaders?
