The actual fight organization aspect of fight club was the smallest part if i remember correctly.
I don't get why this isn't its own new thing. It don't even sound like a terrible premise until you lazily just try to sell it to people as "an all girl Fight Club". Lol a movie about an all girls underground female fight club (without any mention to the previous actual film) is a cool enough premise on it's own.
When you try to make it a woke feminine version of Fight Club and putting that spin on all the ethos the original had... is where it sounds terrible. It's just gonna be 2 hours of Twitter debate gif bait.
i predict a 99% critics score and a 10% viewer score on rotten tomatoes and crazy outrage from all sides
in for the s*** show
The audience for this movie is the same as the author of that article, who say s*** like
After all, can you think of a badder b**** in the industry right now? Yeah, we didn't think so.
Holy f***, deceased

Ebert digs himself out of the grave, writes a review saying it’s better than Fight Club and then gets back in the casket.

f*** this s***
besides being f***ing unnecessary, it also makes no sense. Fight Club is a critique of toxic masculinity, how u gonna pull that without men?
Y’all picked the trashiest lookin broad to start in fight club?
B**** got the jawline of a heavyweight champ lmao

I actually thought the opposite. It was more of an ideal of what young American boys wanna aspire to be but they get caught into consumerism.
Sure everyone dies at the end but there was freedom (and consequences) with being your true self
