“I can do anything and apologize for it later as long
As it ain't a racist tape from '88, than I'm straight of that cannot be forgave
If I drank pee for, 18 years straight and ate s*** every day
On a porcelain plate that was shaped like a toilet with a fork and steak, knife
For the rest of my life and had to watch my ex-wife get f***ed by Vanilla Ice
    Twice a day, cause I said N-I-G-G-A, when I was a teenager“

    I hope this isn't a Eminem lyric
Cuz the problem isn't saying the n-word with an a as a teenager the problem is participating in racist rap hours calling black people racial slurs and saying black girls are dumb etc
it's not a oops the n-word slipped whilst rapping along to tupac or sum lmao gtfoh with this s***

"The tape ... was something I made out of anger, stupidity and frustration when I was a teenager. I'd just broken up with my girlfriend, who was African American, and I reacted like the angry, stupid kid I was. I hope people will take it for the foolishness that it was, not for what somebody is trying to make it into today."

He released a statement, idk how valid any of it was though.

He's most likely lying about having a affican American gf

He mentioned it at this part of the interview wish he went into full detail

He spoke nothing but facts in this snippet

Shame on those interviewers for reducing it to a rap beef

Consumers will not care about this whatsoever as rap is a mere product to them but Eminem violated the culture and anyone who loves this culture should stand in solidarity when addressing it (no ifs or buts about it)

How did he violate hip hop culture : by studying Rakim, ll cool j, treach, the beastie boys etc. to learn how to rap only to use that gift to be racist against black people

Elvis didn't even have the gal to do that whilst studying other black entertainers dance moves to emulate (he would attend shows, look it up) he didn't turn around and perform at kkk rallyes for example.

Here comes Eminem claiming to love Rakim (who's a 5 percenter, look it up)

Hip hop culture is birthed within the outcry of minorities from innercities to voice their thoughts on their upbringing and express grievances, aspirations, philosophies through creativity (very important as they have been represented in the media by people who clearly have an agenda against them or were simply ignored)

Heres comes a white boy that went to a predominantly white school, raised in the south (Missouri), most likely segregated from blacks his whole childhood latching onto a piece of culture he could've used to speak truly about his experience with race/poverty growing up but instead he brandished his weapon against the very culture that he took it from....

Idc about imagenary gfs(I'm not even getting into how disrespectful it was to insult everyone's intelligence with the black gf trope.... )

I need an explanation as to how he could harbor that ignorance/hatred as an adult (the tapes are from when he was 20/21, him being 16 came from his pr statement) towards black people whilst claiming he loves hip hop... it's disturbing to say the least.

And that’s how history will remember Eminem. The greatest rapper ever. Broke down cultural walls and made rap global.
