foster a dynamic in which a fan will want to go out of their way to support the artist. whether it's by consistent communication by social media channels, making good music, etc.

this is the most effective awnser: create a cult

kpop fans go out of their way to buy dozens of copies each just to support their artists, Nicki fans starve themselves spending their paystubs on her latest single

I think if artists took a page out of politicians playbooks and canvassed their work around neighborhoods theyd get more plays

Simple stuff, pull up to a neighborhood and tell the good people about your album

    1) Die

    2) They've got to give as much as their real life as possible. People buy the act, not the music. So, whatever you can do to make yourself as personable as possible, as relatable as possible, whether that be vlogs, IG content, etc. grassroots s***.

In general though, buying music is a dying thing and it'll be virtually impossible in today's streaming era. No incentive to buy a product when I can stream it.
