7day > matw > all eyez > r u still down > 4 my niggaz
top 5
if we include his group albums
7day > matw > thug life 1 (thug life group album in 94) > all eyez > still i rise (outlaws group album in 99 that was suppose to come out earlier)
with the hm to r u still down & strictly 4 my niggaz
Thug Life over AEOM is bold af
Great song my only critique is that is that the beat is pretty much a remix of snoop - what’s my name
Yeah it was intended for Doggystyle but Dre thought it sounded too similar to WMN so he kept it, tried to give it to the Dogg Pound but didn't put it out..and finally gave it to Pac. Dre didn't like Pac coming to Death Row and Pac thought it was truly a brand new beat he had made for him(Dre didn't tell him any back story) etc.. but thats for another thread lol Love that style of beat though so I ain't complaining. S*** is hard af
The feeling 7 day evokes, at least to me personally, is unlike any album. One of the best rap albums ever

thug life is way more versatile, tighter and is a major vibe
aeom while still a great album and a legit classic - it is his tourist album, to myself a bayarea native
aeom i am not listening to as a whole album on average, but its undeniably iconic, and personally grew up around it so much and its the first music memory i have in life at 3 years old with my father

major facts
it is him firing off on all cylinders - no fluff, no compromise, no "label/mainstream" games and just very raw
the production and mixing is still so ahead too
Need to hear the KTT consensus.

I wish 7 Day kept some songs from 3 Day like Watch Ya Mouth and When Thugz Cry
7 Day is his best though he was at his peak lyrically with songs like Blasphemy, Hold Ya Head, Krazy and Hail Mary

Think the production is not as tight/timeless on TL from start to finish but it has some great highs
How long will you mourn me?!
MATW and 7 Day basically neck and neck itt
Rightfully so. You can't really go wrong with either one. They're both all time classics.
Pac is my favorite rapper of all time, so I was glad that you made this thread.

I always had those two as my top 2 but been bumping non stop Pac lately and AEOM just keeps growing on me, nearly every song is catchy af
MATW just so consistent and 7 Day just has this aura about it thats crazy. The way it's mixed and the adlibs/background vocals are set up on that album is unlike any other album ive ever heard.
It's winter time so I'm lowkey feeling Me Against The World rn
Not even lowkey it’s definitely my favorite Pac album
Not seeing how 7 day theory gets more love. Maybe I need more listens..
Feel like MATW had higher highs and catchier production and melodies
