I agree actually in terms of atmosphere GYBE > Slint but Slint has some of the best f***ing pay offs ever, the ending to Good Morning Captain is prob the most cathartic moment in all of music for me

Pretty sweet as well, tbh reminds me a bit of Olivia Tremor Control but yeah it might be because of the Beach Boys type vocals.
    Carousel is crazy

Been listening a lot to this band recently, what r your thoughts on it?

The fact that nobody mentioned Stereolab, The Sea and Cake, Slint, Pale Saints, Kitchens of Distinction, The Magnetic Fields, Mercury Rev, The Flaming Lips, Of Montreal, Tortoise, Guided by Voices, etc. is a crime.

Love all those bands if you know more. Put me on

Just because something is rare doesn't automatically make it better or good in general.

Obviously but it's much better because I can find more about that band or artist and who they affiliated with and discover more music then repeat
